A lot is happening!

I hope by the end of June our family will be in a new house! (here in PHX) We are really excited. This house need lots of work and pick-me-up's. But, it will be well worth the hard work and effort put into it. The house has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, and the best part a POOL! We are waiting on the home inspection and if that goes well, it's ours. Woohoo! The one thing I'm not looking forward to is moving in the HEAT and the fixing up part...ugh.(okay, that's two things) NOT. FUN. I just have to think of the big picture and take it one day at a time.

I just noticed that I haven't put up any pictures of Lilia's party. It was fun, what's not fun about cake, hot dogs, and kids playing?! We had a great time!

Not sure about the cake:

What's this on my hands?

Here we go, she got the idea after a couple of bites:

While Grandpa was here for Lilia's party, he bought Kaylie a guitar. She has had her eye on it for a looonng time. Grandpa just couldn't resist her. After the party, Grandpa brought it to her. She was waiting anxiously for her "special surprise".

Love it:

Oh no!

One container red paint + one little thief = one big (but cute) mess!

My favorite:

Paint, not so good:

I was putting up the rest of Kaylie's paint containers, Kaylie and Gregg were playing Wii bowling. I noticed Lilia was really quiet, (which is usually not good) I walked around the table and found her enjoying her new favorite thing to open and put in her mouth. I just had to take some pictures of her! Talk about being caught red handed. :)

Happy Birthday Sweet Lilia!

It's been a whole year since Lilia was born. At 10:53am, Lilia entered our lives . My first thoughts (seriously) when my Dr. laid her on my tummy was "Man, she's heavy" and she was all 9lbs 11oz. She has been given a few nicknames over her first year such as: "Hulk", "Chunkster", "Beast", "Big Boned", those are just a few. To me though, she is a happy, sweet, loving and beautiful baby I so adore. I can't imagine what life was like without her, seems like she's been with us since Kaylie. Lilia's first year has been great, I couldn't have asked for a better baby.

Lilia has always been a cuddly baby, she loves to be held especially in my Hotsling. She melts my heart when I pick her up, her little hands go underneath her and she lays her sweet head on my shoulder. I love that! She gives kisses when I ask, and always ready to play with Kaylie. She is crawling all over the place and puts anything she finds into her mouth..YUM. She has taken a few steps here and there, but not walking yet. That will come b/f I know it! God blessed Gregg and I with our girls and I am so thankful to Him. Here are some pictures of "Sweet Lilers" (What we call her at home.)

Sweet Lilia

My Goofy Girl!

Her name is Kaylie, she's blast to be around. She brightens my day, she has millions of facial expressions and the attitude to go along with each one. Here are some I captured of her:

Twinkie Winkie

We got Twinkie in 2005, when I picked her out of the litter she was the calmest, sweetest, most obedient puppy! Boy, did that change. Her sweetness stayed, but she was hyper, destructive and the most naughtiest puppy EVER! I kept a tally of things Twink ate, destroyed, or tore up. I don't know where I put that list. But off the top of my head I remember the following:

3 pairs of my shoes
2 pairs of Gregg's shoes
4 flip flops
1 can of baby formula
1 prescription bottle, w/ the drugs inside.
1 camera
2 house plants
4 books
2 dog beds

And the list goes on and on and on..anyways you get the picture.
So I was saying this b/c this is not what I will miss about Twinkie! I will miss her gentleness with my girls, her overwhelming love for her humans and her sweet face. We made the decision after Twinkie's long list of chronic health problems that we did not have the financial means to take care of her. One of the vet tech's at our Vets office wanted her, and took her in. Twinkie is living the high life now!

(We haven't seen Twinkie in about 2 months now, I've called about her and she is doing great.)

Papa and Nana's visit.

Kaylie loves going to the airport, b/c it's usually means we are picking up Grandparents. This time, it was my Mom aka Nana. She arrived in the afternoon, we went to lunch and then home for naps. After naps, dinner and some play time Kaylie showed Nana how to use her phone..lol. Here are some pictures of that.

Valentine's Day

I love this holiday, and now that I have kiddos, I love it even more. I don't really know what I like about it..haha. I think it's the making cards, the candles, the smells and watching kids as they pass our cards, pure delight and joy.

My Mom sent matching outfits for V-day. Of course, I'm a sucker for matching clothes. Kaylie loves to match Lilia, I think she asked about every other day "Am I going to match Baby Lilia Alesa today?" I have to take advantage of it b/f she starts not participation in the fun. :)

6:30 AM

I was rocking Kaylie at 6:00am, we had a really long night. The stomach flu is NO fun. As I looked at her sleeping on me, it took me back to when I first held her. How innocent, small and perfect she was (and is!) My life forever changed at 6:30am 12/5/2005 when she was born, my life forever changed again at 6:30am 12/5/2008 when My sweet baby lifted her head and threw up all over me! EWW, my poor baby. Oh-well, I know I got sick on my Mom. I guess that is what a Mom is for, to rock you when your sick. I just wish it was me and not her. Keep my sick birthday girl in your prayers.
We had a par-tay for Kaylie at the park, hope everyone likes pictures! Happy Birthday Mookie. I love you girl.

WALL-E Cake: (Kaylie picked out the cake and the decor. She had a hard time picking the cake, it was between WALL-E and Tinkerbell. A WALL-E cake, and Tinkerbell decor...funny girl.)

Yummy frosting:

All a girl needs is MARSHMALLOWS!

We've enjoyed three terrific years with Kaylie. I know we have more ahead of us, and I can't wait to experience it.
