My sick baby!

So Kaylie has croup, yuck! On Wednesday I took her to Dr. Pham and he confirmed what I thought, yep THE CROUP! He prescribed her a 5 day round of steroids. Poor thing, she sounds like a seal barking. She has not been able to sleep at night, due to her coughing so much. Gregg has been so helpful, even though he has to go to work and I can sleep in. Well, at least try to sleep in. Gregg moved our recliner to her room so she can sleep on us sitting up. (She will not sleep with a pillow or any other object trying to prop her up some.) This kinda backfired on me though, I thought it would be perfect for her and me to get some sleep in. Well, turns out that an extra 27lbs of Kaylie's weight on my belly has Baby GJ in sibling rivalry! GJ kicks, turns and rolls in my belly and I get very uncomfortable. So, Gregg ends up sleeping with Kaylie, which is probably better b/c he can sleep through her coughing and I can not. Today is the third day, so hopefully tonight she will get some good sleep in. I've only heard her cough 3 times now..woohoo! From what I've been reading on croup, it usually takes about 3/5 days recover from. (This is not the first time she has had croup, but it is the worst) I was hoping Kaylie would have a sleep-full night tonight, but she just got up crying, poor thing. I rock her, but she tells me "I go night night Momma" in her pitiful strained voice. Keep my little girl in your prayers.

Gregg and I are going to watch some LOST! I can't get enough of that show. I heard last night's episode was awesome!
